Naval UAV crashes at Vizag

Feb 17, 2012: An Israeli Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in service of the Indian Navy crashed in Visakhapatnam on Thursday after it was returning from a routine sortie.

The UAV named Searcher Mk-II crashed into a hill side opposite the Hanuman Temple in Gajuwaka area of the city.

There has been no loss to life or property reported. An Inquiry has been ordered to look into the circumstances leading to the crash.
