We have no money for strategic rail lines: Antony

At the commissioning of INS Sahyadri Defence Minister AK Antony got candid and accepted that his ministry does not have money to spare for the construction of strategic railway lines along the northern and north-eastern borders along the Indo-China border. Adding that even Indian Railways did not have funds for it, Antony exhorted the government should take up the cause in the interest of the country.

“Railway has no money. We also do not have any money,” Antony said candidly.

“We have informed the government that this project should be taken up by the government as it strategically very important,” the Defence Minister added.

As reported earlier (China reaches at India's doorsteps ) even as China was building rail and road network along its side of the border at a fast pace, the Indian government is still deliberating on the idea of who will finance the construction of these 14 strategic lines. The Defence Ministry then proposed to construct six high priority strategic lines bordering China at the cost of Rs. 80,000 crore. However, the Finance Ministry has refused to cough even that for “commercially non-viable” rail lines.

  1. The Indian Administration wanted the Air Force not to have a trainer and thus diverted the funds to LCA under the emotional blackmail of indeginisation. With no LCA in site the airforce had to bend backwards and became the only air force in the world to send young pilots straight from basic training into the Mig 21 series. Thus lives were lost yet DRDO nor the Indian Administration felt bad, awkward or un professional. They did not set up parallel funds for getting a trainer for the air force and saving lives of young men who could have been assets to the country. The administration wis so unprofessionalism that the crasheswere blamed on human error with a twist...---whilst the human error was on part of the administration, and the self serving needs of DRDO,HAL,NAL, the blame was shifted unto the dead pilots. No study or talk of the crash being due to inadequate training. Here the chiefs succumbed to the pressure of the administration of denying the air force a trainer. DRDO/HAL further wanted and want the air force to source in underpowered planes to substitute the vacuum of the trainer. No other Administrations would have so selfishly taken lives, turned those who would have been assets to the country into occupying coffins, and leaving the airforce with the strength that has been perceived as needed in the 70s..

The administrators have been slow on the uptake when china started the strategy to come up to indias border with a quick efficient force, their professionalims has been showcased with poor infrastructure thru out India, the anti Indian sentiments due to the apathy, no toilets, no electricity, no water , food being wasted and eaten by rats in the metric tonnes.

Now the administrators want the army to fund the infrastructure as according to them they percieve it as a military problem to counter china's inffrastructre that allows her to undo Indias security due to the mobility and time consumed for mobilizing the army at the borders.

One has been reading about political-mafia nexus, and recently about the bad apples in the army......somehow India has missed looking into the realms of the IAS that has only weakened the police force and now the armed forces .The possibility of anti Indian element nexus within those in charge..i.e.IAS is a very strong possibility.

The police force is ineffective thats why the army is called in, how has the police force become ineffective?....low pay, no facility, mafia-political/IAS nexus cant be broken..further break down the system by pushing in SC/ST.OBC caste class segments for the job so that merit finds no place but only 'mai-baap' giri...the police force is turned into a job which is not a viable job for professional but the corrupt by the IAS..and the IAS has become the world's most power hungry, gluttonous un professional organisation that their craze wants the same to be done to the armed forces....thus no OROP, no gallantry award payments compared to civilian promotions, big salary difference between the armed forces and civilian counterpart, less facilities, less pensions and as the soldoers gets killed everyday..no resistance from the chief as his position will ale succumb to 'mai baap 'giri, after all no chief vehemently toled the babus and politicians that without a trainer and with DRDO's accomplishment, his force only kills young pilots!

Whose afraid of China when we have the I.A.S
